The problem
Owners of high-value cars want to know what is happening to them. Progress updates, write-ups and invoices were sent piecemeal, and workshop time was hard to tie back to each job.
The approach
- Staff timesheets and estimates built on the workshop's existing estimating template.
- A private garage for each customer: their cars, open and closed projects, progress, write-ups and invoices.
- Staff decide exactly what is shared with each customer.
- Designed to the workshop's own brand rather than the parent group's.
The outcome
- A premium, transparent experience for customers, and one system of record for the workshop.
What they say
Mike built us workshop timesheets and a customer garage in our own brand, not TECNIQ's. Staff book their hours against jobs, we check them against the clocking data, and customers see their cars, progress and write-ups in one place. It replaced paper.
